Web-Based & Wireless Package Tracking System
Syncretic built and now hosts a Web-based tracking system for a logistics company that tracks packages within the facilities at a Fortune 100 company. The system allows entry of package, location, and carrier information as well as load and delivery times. The system also utilizes a wireless wide-area network PalmOS device to capture delivery information and communicate that information to the Web for real-time reporting. The System uses Perl/CGI on a Microsoft IIS Web server, an Oracle database, and scanning applications developed in CodeWarrior C for PalmOS for the handheld devices.

Stock Index and Basket Trading System
The Stock Index & Basket Trading System (SIBTS) was developed by Syncretic Software, Inc. for Base Systems, Inc. in response to their need for an efficient, multi-site electronic arbitrage application. SIBTS is a client-server system, with multiple clients connecting to the modular application services. This modularity allows the system to be easily adaptable and highly scalable. Users receive real-time stock quotes and can execute trades through multiple execution houses through the highly customizable client interface. The interface also allows administrators to run reports and create custom data views. Financial transactions use the FIX protocol communication standard.
